Ian, owner and principal instructor at Open Doors English

Ian Williams, Teacher / Owner

Ian, the owner and principal instructor at Open Doors English, has been teaching English in Japan since 1994. During this time, he has conscientiously assisted students to maximize their English speaking potential as well as lending advice and support in non academic matters.

Having worked for one of Japan’s biggest language schools, he is aware of the pluses and pitfalls of such institutions. Falling back on his experiences, Ian has ventured to open a school that provides lessons of value and quality in a relaxed and friendly setting. The naming of his school reflects his zeal to teach. He’s opening the doors of his school, welcoming everyone with a motivation to learn English so they can open doors to more opportunities and realize their ambitions in life.
